This photo was taken in 1995 of Ethel and Margie Reisz at a surprise 95th Birthday party for her.  Margie Reisz presented the certificate to her announcing the Ethel McCormack Scholarship at CSU-Fresno Plant Science Department.

 

Ethel McCormack Memorial Scholarships are awarded in the following field and locations:

Reedley College Landscape Horticulture Department

Fresno City College Adaptive Horticulture Department

Fresno City College Business Division

CSU-Fresno- Plant Science Department

The Fresno City College Ethel McCormack Scholarship was established in 2003. It was established in two departments. Ethel McCormack taught Gregg Shorthand at the college for many years.

The Business Division was established to recognize her years of service in the Field of Business. In appreciation for the participation of students and professor from the Adaptive Horticulture Department this scholarship is awarded.

The Reedley Scholarship was established in 1999 the head of the Landscape Horticulture Department has volunteered and sent student volunteers for many years.

The CSU - Fresno Scholarship was established in 1995, it was first awarded in 1996. The professors from the Plant Science Department participated in founding the Garden Give and Take.
