Donna Dozier has been a hair dresser for 31 years, starting in her hometown of Woodland Hills, California. She launched her career by buying her first business at the age of 19 in Marin, moving too Sebastopol thereafter. In Sebastopol Donna established another salon which she ran for 20 years. Her stint in the wine country came to a close with a move to Oakhurst to fulfill a promise to her husband, and now works locally at the Upstairs Downtown Salon. While dealing with clients and family with cancer Donna was introduced to The Look Good Feel Better program through the American Cancer Society. The feeling that Donna felt after her first session 18 years ago just gets stronger every month. The Look Good Feel Better program is free of charge, product, and salon neutral as well as non-medical. Essentially the program is for Women dealing with the affects of Chemotherapy and radiation. Knowing about this program is a great way to help/suggest to coworkers and friends who are on a journey through cancer.
Donna continues her education and teaching as an American Cancer Society Ambassador and Trainer, speaking around the country on the Look Good Feel Better program, and all its benefits.
